The first category involves the use of a horizontally rotating machine which is similar to a vertical milling machine. These pieces of equipment have a large wheel on the outside, and a number of horizontal plates can be lined up along the length of the wheel. As these plates move around the horizontal wheel they will make contact with either of the two rows of plates positioned vertically in the room. This will cause friction between the two sides of the wheel and this is what causes the rocking motion that is characteristic of a tilting rotary table.
This means that when these pieces of equipment are moved around the room the individual horizontal plates will be moved around as well. This makes it possible for all of the employees to get some work done at the same time. There are two benefits to this of course. One is that two people can complete their work on the same day by using these pieces of equipment. Additionally, the speed at which the rotating parts move means that more work can be finished within a short period of time.
The second category of tilting rotary tables uses two additional pieces of machinery for the operation. This means that these pieces of equipment can now move around the room in much the same way as the horizontal milling machine. However, instead of moving horizontally the two additional pieces of equipment rotate on their axis. This is an important point because the speed at which these pieces move is important. The faster they rotate the better your work can be completed in less time.
For example, if you are making a table saw to cut out a piece of wood at a very high speed to the speed at which the table saw spins will cause the wood to fly right off the end. The same can happen when you are making a plaster or mortar joint. Both of these tasks require precision work, especially when it comes to the distance between the points where the materials will be placed. If you place the materials too close together, there is a good chance that you will have to make adjustments to your work piece that could cost you a lot of money. If the distance between the two points is too small the materials will not have enough room to join and the joint will not hold properly.
